What is SexTalk4GOGOs?
Talking about sex can be difficult and in many communities is regarded as taboo. SexTalk4GOGOs workshops are interactive sessions with GOGOs sharing information and building knowledge on HIV and AIDS and developing skills to talk about sex openly.
Project Aim
Using the book “HIV & AIDS” by Marina Appelbaum to share accurate and current information on HIV and AIDS to inform GOGOs on safer sexual behaviour choices for themselves AND the grandchildren they are raising
To empower GOGOs in sexual reproductive health content so that they can speak openly and honestly about sex and sexuality to the grandchildren that they are raising
