GOGOVision
What is GOGOVision?
Peers and Fisher Optometrists in Johannesburg, runs a programme that conducts vision screening for school taxi drivers in Johannesburg, called Vision Drive. In partnership with goGOGOgo, Vision Drive has tested the eyes of over 50 gogos from Alexandra and over 30 pairs of glasses have been distributed providing gogos with the joy of increased vision.
Project Aim
To increase numbers of older persons offered vision screening, through expanding the network of partner optometrists providing vision screening for gogos, allowing increased accessibility of vision testing and eyeglasses distribution and referrals for ophthalmological care for GOGOs.
